Motion Control Modules

Servo Control
The following modules may be used in our Series 2600/2700 Automation
Controllers. Each has an on-board 16-bit processor, enabling multi-axis motion
control to be performed without degrading controller performance. High-level
servo commands (e.g., turn servo#1 1500 steps ccw) are used to
program motions, and motion parameters may be drawn from a variety of sources.
 | Model 2214 Single- and Dual-axis Servo Control
Modules, supporting operation at up to 250,000 steps/sec.
 | Model 2219 High-performance Servo Control Module,
for demanding applications requiring performance to 4,000,000 steps/sec, or
such advanced features as cam profiling, registration, axis-follower
operation, etc.

Stepping Motor Control
For stepping motor control when inserted in a Series 2600/2700 Automation
Controller. As with the servo modules, high-level commands are used to simplify
programming.
 | Model 2205 Stepping Motor Control Module, with
on-board drivers capable of driving small motors for setup applications.
This module represents a very economical motion control solution.
 | Model 2206 Single- and Dual-axis Stepping Motor
Control Modules for high-performance requirements at step rates to 250,000
steps/sec. A unique hardware/firmware architecture supports on-the-fly
changes to motion parameters, as well as dynamic monitoring of position and
step rates. |
